Planning to move your loved ones into a senior living community but unsure of which living option to go with? No worries, as this article will help you to navigate the complex world of senior care. Here are some frequently asked questions (FAQ) about independent living offered at Aston Gardens At Sun City Center.
Are My Loved Ones Eligible for Independent Living?
Can your loved ones go about their day without much assistance, wish to meet new people, and would like to have access to many amenities? If your answer is yes to all the questions, then they will fare well in an independent living community. As its name suggests, an independent living community is catered to older adults who have the ability to be self-reliant and enjoy an active physical and social life. They can head out to town for shopping and dining trips, participate in fitness classes, mingle with other residents, and many more without much supervision. However, there will still be professional staff on-site to assist with any requests whenever required.

At our Sensations restaurant, residents are served chef-prepared, nutritionist-planned meals two or three times a day by our professional wait staff. If you’re worried that your loved ones are picky eaters, no fret as they can take their pick from various international cuisines and menu choices. We can assure you they will find a meal to their liking.
How Do My Loved Ones Make Friends?
There are a number of ways your loved ones can mingle around and form new friendships. However, the most common way is through attending our activities and events, which are updated and planned daily by our full-time Activities Director. These activities can range from fitness and wellness classes to outings around town, and they usually take place in a group setting. This provides an opportunity for your loved ones to introduce themselves and get familiarized with the other residents.
