I toured the facility as a potential spot for my mom and I left feeling jealous that I couldn’t live there as well! They offer a wide range of amenities and activities, and everything was incredibly maintained. It felt like living at a resort, and we certainly noticed how happy all of the residents we encountered seemed to be. This place is the right balance of comfort, independence, and assisted living. Definitely check this one out!

My parents moved into independent living at Aston Gardens over the summer and absolutely love it! Rita was amazing and instrumental in finding them an apartment after they turned down one earlier because of bad timing. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is warm and welcoming. The separate dining room is bright and lively and the food is delicious with three dinner options. The waiters are young, adorable and attentive. There are beautiful walking trails and lovely outside common areas.Look no further. I promise you will love Aston Gardens and this very special community.Lori from CT

I had an incredible experience going through the process of finding Independent Living for my loved one at Aston Gardens with Rita. As many know, this can be a stressful, overwhelming, uncertain time both for caregivers and their loved ones who need to make the important decision to enter into an adult community, independent living or ALF to simplify things.Rita walked me through the process seamlessly, was extremely knowledgeable, understanding and empathetic and addressed all of our concerns. I’m excited for my loved one’s new chapter and I’m confident that I’ve found a happy, encouraging community where my loved one will be supported. Thank you to Rita and everyone who helps to make Aston Gardens run. The staff and residents have been warm and welcoming. We are looking forward to a bright new chapter!

Worked with Rita, who was amazing. She helped us through the process of getting my mom from Rehab ( broken ankle) to her new home in the assisted living part of this incredible community. Such a stressful time for myself and my sisters since we live out of state but Rita helped us every step of the way; connecting us with the nurses, staff, and easing our mom's transition into her new community. My mom is loving her new apartment, the food, the staff, the activities and it gives all of us peace of mind to know our 88 year old mom is safe and happy. Another shout out to Alyson who is the coordinator of activities in the assisted living complex. She is like a cruise director taking the time to know each resident and plans amazing activities each day so that my reclusive mom is back living her best life as the social butterfly she once was. We are so happy we chose Aston Gardens for my mom.

We recently toured Aston Gardens with Rita and were truly impressed by Rita’s friendliness, connectedness, and knowledge of the complex process of moving our loved one into a new apartment. Because Rita is such an excellent coordinator, we were able to relax amidst a challenging time. We can’t thank her enough for her kindness and support. The grounds of Aston Gardens are lush and clean, and the residents have access to elegant meals, much-needed services and desirable luxuries. I know my loved one will feel safe and connected in this lively community.

My mom, who is 95 and declining a bit cognitively, moved into AG Parkland a few months ago. The staff has been very attentive and kind in helping my mom acclimate to her new environment. My mom really likes the food too. We could not be happier with the decision. A big thanks to Rita Armstrong for helping my mom finally make the decision to move. My mom refused to make this move for many years, and Rita patiently for years followed-up each time a unit became available.

My parents have lived here for almost 4 years. The staff truly cares about their residents. I visit often and see how they are with all of the residents. Of course, you need to be involved. You cannot bring your loved one here, drop them off, and expect everything to be moonbeams and rainbows. Aston Gardens does their part, but as relatives, we need to do our part too and stay involved. These folks have helped me through so much! There are people working here that make a difference. Allyson Katz is AMAZING!! My mother has dementia and it’s getting very bad. Allyson helps her more than I could ever imagine! So many people have been there for years and years. Seeing that longevity matters too! Some notable people that I would like to acknowledge and show my sincere appreciation for:Melanie- Thank you for everything. Your encouragement has meant so much!!Ivonne- keep that sweet and kind disposition, you’re amazing!Lori- one of the nurses, keeps you informed and takes the time to show empathy and connect with you as a person.Kathleen- thank you. I appreciate your friendliness and compassion. There are so many people working here that are so amazing. I’ve recently spent many hours in the building helping my parents with a transition, I’ve seen what these people do. It was the BEST decision my parents have made.

Aston Gardens is amazing. My mother has been in the Assisted Living apartments for a year and a half and I could not be happier with her level of care. Melanie, Allyson and Kathleen, as well as the entire nursing staff treat my mother as if she were their own. I honestly sleep better at night knowing that my mother is cared for, loved and kept safe around the clock. If you have to make the difficult decision to move a loved one into an assisted living facility, I highly recommend Aston Gardens.

I knew Aston Gardens in Parkland from my home healthcare job as well as from my sister’s Non profit company who helps with activities at Aston Gardens. When my mom decided to move to Independent Living both my sister and I knew there was only one place to visit with mom. My mom loved Aston Gardens after meeting with Rita and Yasmin. We all knew this was the place to be. From day one to the move in to the present they all have made mom feel so at home. They helped her to make friends and answer all questions we have. It has the feel of a resort and meets her needs for both safety and comfort. We highly recommend Aston Gardens in Parkland.

I currently live in another senior living community. A friend in the same community is moving to Aston Gardens because she isn't happy where we are. Recently she invited me to have lunch and go on a tour of Aston Gardens, with the hope that I might want to relocate there too. To say that I was impressed is an understatement. From the moment I arrived, to saying goodbye to Rita Armstrong, I was blown away! The ambience, food and service made me feel as if I was in a restaurant or at a country club rather than at a "facility." Rita showed me around and things got even better. The activity and other common areas and staff whom I met were above and beyond what I expected. I am ambulatory and not mentally impaired, so I would have access to the Grande Clubhouse for Independent Living residents--although I would need to live in an Assisted Living apt. to obtain the care I require. Because they are all occupied, I wasn't able to see one. I only had a floor plan. I saw some drawbacks about the unit there (for me personally, such as a smaller space than I am accustomed to, no in-unit washer/dryer like I now have (although I would have laundry service), no full kitchen because on occasion I still enjoy cooking, and higher rent/care costs. But I put myself on the waiting list since I have nothing to lose. If I refuse an Assisted Living apartment when it becomes available to me, I can get a full refund of my deposit. The pluses at THIS community far outweigh those where I currently reside. I saw and experienced greater quality, a better location, more professionalism and so much more! I am seriously considering moving to Aston Gardens in the future.

Her expertise and dedication was apparent from the moment we met. Moreover, the entire staff at Aston Gardens demonstrated a level of hospitality that exceeded my expectations. From the friendly smiles at the reception to the amazing nurses and attentive service in the dining area, every team member has worked hard to make my mother’s stay enjoyable and comfortable.I highly recommend Rita and Aston Gardens! Thanks for everything!

My mom is a resident at The Inn at Aston Gardens - the assisted living side. We worked with Rita, who was terrific to work with. She assisted us with the entire move-in process. Mom and I are both so impressed by the quality of the staff. The care managers are wonderful. It is a real tribute to whoever does the hiring, because they are all truly kind and compassionate. The nursing staff is also top-notch - Julie, Lori and the entire nursing team. The daily activities are managed by Ally and Kathleen, who are passionate about what they do. They focus on planning thoughtful activites that engage all of the residents. This is a quote from my mom, “I feel so cared for and loved.” Four of my former co-workers have family members there as well, and two of my neighbors have family on the Independent side. So, if you are looking for a wonderful place to care for aging parents, look no further.

Just want to thank Rita for being so compassionate, professional and truly caring about the residents at Aston Gardens Parkland. My mom moved there over a year ago and it was the best decision we made. Her apartment is lovely, the staff, from the people who drive the trolleys to the director are all very considerate and available to discuss any concerns. The only thing we regret is that she didn’t move sooner!

I was very impressed with my tour of Aston Gardens. The residence is bright, cheerful and very clean. The grounds were spacious and even had a putting green area. The large pool area had plenty of chaises. The apartments that were part of the tour were roomy with plenty of closets and each umit had their own washer and dryer. There were loads of amenities. The tour included a delicious lunch with easy conversations with the staff. All of my current questions were answered on the spot.I left there favorably impressed.

Navigating dementia with a loved one is confusing, frustrating, and overwhelmingly sad. I spent a year searching for assistance for my mother as her memory deteriorated and could no longer take care of her daily needs. I'm incredibly relieved that she is living at Aston Gardens Assisted Living. It's a very nice place. There is staff working around the clock. The residents are assisted based on their needs. They all go to the dining room for meals and, between meals, there is always an activity to participate in. In addition, and it's a huge factor for me, you will see friendly faces the moment you walk in the door. In closing, I know that my mother is safe, fed and wants for nothing. I couldn't be more relieved. If you need someone to talk to about your similar experience, you're welcome to reach out.

Our experience with Aston Gardens has been nothing but positive. From our first meeting with Rita Armstrong; touring the facility, seeing the model and dining in the clubhouse-she is a treasure! My Mom is happier than she has been since my Father passed away years ago. Both the employees and the residents have made her feel so welcome! My Mom has been playing canasta, Rumi cube, Zumba, and walking around the lake, meeting her "friends" for meals that she says are DELICIOUS! She has changed her sleep patterns; going to bed earlier so she can wake up earlier because she cannot wait to get to the clubhouse. I know my Mom is happy and being watched over by people that care about her-thank you to the entire staff from my entire family!!

My 89 year old mom has been living at Aston Gardens at Parkland and we both couldn't be happier. The staff are outstanding, caring, professional and always ready to go the extra mile. Instead of isolating in her old condo, mom has made friends, participates in social activities, and I am no longer in fear of her falling or not taking her daily medications. Communications with the facility have been excellent. She gets 3 nutritious meals daily (not including snacks) and has a beauty shop right on the premises. It is always a difficult choice to find a place for one's parents, but I know I made the right decision.

My mom lived her final chapter in the memory support unit. The care and attend our Edith received is beyond commendable. We were lucky to have the community there behind us because they worked so closely with the residents families, we were supported, too. Mom was over 100.

A relative of ours was looking for an independent living facility in California and could not find anything in his budget. He had just had some health problems and his outlook on life was bleak. We looked around for him in South Florida to be near us and he came to Aston Gardens based on how we loved it. Turns out Aston Gardens is so much better than anything we had considered in California or Orlando!Aston Gardens has definitely made a huge difference for him: he’s happier than I’ve ever see him! He’s always talking about his friends at Aston Gardens now; he sings in their music group; he goes gallivanting around Ft. Lauderdale with one of his friends; he meets at others’ homes for birthdays and holidays. Someone is throwing him a birthday party this coming week and 18 people are coming. He just went to another person’s birthday party at a swanky restaurant.I was impressed that his friends raised funds to help Ukraine and they do other civic minded activities. The local high school has s Christmas parade on golf carts through their community. The synagogue nearby gave the residents gifts for Purim this past year. It’s a wonderful community. He was so excited when the dining room was remodeled and bragged on it, so I went to take pictures of it. Tee and Addie, the staff today, welcomed me to the dining area and added that they were proud of their gym, concert room and games area also. Tee and Addie knew my relative by name and by what they said I could tell the staff here cares about residents here.Aston Gardens is situated pretty near to a shopping center to the north. South of it are all the stores and restaurants and shops you could ever wish for. It’s a very nice area of town. When my husband and I moved to Orlando we toured other independent living facilities with our relative but he decided to stay at Aston Gardens. His friends told him they would miss him and I think that means so much to him.We couldn’t be happier that he moved to Aston Gardens. We hope it continues to stay as wonderful as it has been.

Aston Gardens at Parkland is an answer for so many of our needs. Rita Armstrong worked diligently to ensure that we were able to see all of the apartments that would best suit our physical needs. She continued to contact me updating me on the terrific plans and renovations that have been done on the buildings in the grounds and we celebrate living in this community now and making new friends every day. Kudos to Rita for all her hard work! We are blessed.
