Tampa, Florida [April 23, 2024] – The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has recognized Aston Gardens At Tampa Bay Independent Living, Assisted Living and SHINE® Memory Care for being “deficiency-free” after a comprehensive, unannounced inspection recorded zero issues, problems, or defects.
As part of the multi-day survey, AHCA personnel reviewed numerous records, policies and procedures, staffing reports and other internal documentation. They also “shadowed” select team members as they performed their operational and patient care duties. AHCA surveyors conducted interviews with residents and family members, visitors, volunteers and the community’s own team of caregivers and lifestyle managers. The thorough inspection indicated the highest level of compliance with state and federal regulations.

Aston Gardens At Tampa Bay consists of 327 suites and one and two-bedroom apartment homes across three different living options; Assisted Living, Independent Living and SHINE® Memory Care. The community is located at 12951 W. Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa, FL, and is managed by Florida-based Discovery Senior Living.
